Inspired by the Wake family crest, The Knot reflects the legacy of Hereward the Wake, the Anglo-Saxon rebel who resisted Norman rule.
Once a symbol of courage and defiance, today it represents the weaving together of past and present, honouring centuries of stewardship while embracing a collaborative, sustainable future that connects people and place.

Nourish yourself with our naturally grown produce in our forthcoming farm shop and restaurant. Meat from our Traditional Hereford cattle, our Berkshire pigs and our rare breed sheep, to fresh ingredients from our walled garden, our menus will change with the seasons, showcasing the regenerative stories behind each ingredient.
