Exploring land, legacy and a shared vision for the future

We were delighted to welcome a group of NFU Mutual estate specialists to Courteenhall for an immersive two-day tour of the estate. Hosted by our Managing Partner, Johnny Wake, the visit offered an opportunity to share not only the breadth of what happens across Courteenhall, but also the guiding principles shaping our long-term direction.
Their walking tour brought to life the scale and diversity of Courteenhall’s work — from parkland restoration and native breed cattle, to thriving woodlands, species-rich pasture, anaerobic digestion, and our mix of poultry, industrial and residential enterprises. Each stop reflected our commitment to regenerative farming, responsible stewardship, and building a resilient rural economy. It was also a fantastic opportunity to discuss NFU Mutual’s emerging natural capital proposition, an area with exciting potential for farmers, landowners, and the wider rural community.
We look forward to seeing these developments unfold and continuing the conversation.
