We're really pleased to have spotted Turtle Doves at our sister Estate, Gawdy Hall.
Estate Manager Mark Mayhew heard their unique call when he was on a morning walk.
The team has long working hard on a number of conservation projects, improving habitats and supplemental feeding and it's brillaint that their hard work has paid off with sightings of of these beautiful birds.
Turtle Doves fly 5,000km to winter in Africa and return to the UK in the Spring.
They are extremely rare, with only 2,000 mating pairs left in the UK, according to the last population survey carried out. Numbers have plummeted by 99% since the 1970s.
They have a red list conservation status and the RSPB is working with farmers to provide them with the food and habitats they need to raise a brood.
