Sunday saw our annual Apple Day get together for those who either live on and / or work at Courteenhall.

There was a bumper crop of apples in our kitchen garden and orchard for everyone to pick.

Each year we juice all the apples and turn them into our delicious Courteenhall apple juice.

For the last few years we’ve also had a plum jam-making competition after all the apples have been harvested. Each of the competitors is given 1kg of plums from the Estate to make into delicious jam.

Tim was this year’s winner, and he was presented with his trophy by last year’s winner Cheryl.

We always seem to get good weather for our annual Apple Day and this year was no exception. It’s a really nice family event for all ages.
