It was great to host the South Northants District Cross-Country event at Courteenhall for a second year.
Over 30 primary and secondary schools from across South Northants and Daventry took part in the annual event over a challenging course around the Estate.
In total, this year saw nearly 800 runners took part throughout the day, an increase of almost 300 compared to last year.
The event was organised and delivered by Northamptonshire Sport, the county’s leading physical activity, health and wellbeing charity.
David Hanson, Strategic Lead (Schools) for South Northants and Daventry, said: “We really appreciate all the help and support Courteenhall Estate has given this particular event over the past couple of years.
“Yet again we were blessed with the weather and the children all had a fantastic time. It’s great for them to experience a proper cross-country course. We’re looking forward to coming back next year.”
