Estate Assistant wanted

We're looking for an Estate Assistant to join our sister estate Gawdy Hall, in Norfolk, which is staffed by a small and dedicated team.

We are looking for a top-notch candidate to assist in all aspects of daily office administration as well as some exciting projects across the Estate.

We have a very hands on and “muck in” approach at Gawdy and the successful individual will be expected to follow this ethos. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys organising and getting stuck into projects.

Office Administration

Undertake a full range of administration tasks including but not limited to:

· Acting as front of house for The Estate Office, greeting and dealing with all visitors.

· Admin support including purchasing.

· Organise and maintain electronic filing system.

· Monitor and maintain stocks of stationery, stamps, petty cash, kitchen sundries.

· Organise meetings/conference calls and taking minutes where necessary.

· Setting up meeting rooms and providing refreshments.

· Open/read/scan/ distribute/deal with all post.

· Answer incoming telephone calls.

· Ensure kitchen kept tidy, dishwasher filled/emptied daily.

 

Personal Qualities and Experience

You will have previous experience working in an administrative role.

Be exceptionally well organised and methodical.

A proactive and "can do" work ethic.

Some experience or knowledge in a farm or Estate Office environment would be preferable, but not essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
