Courteenhall Farms is the in-hand farming operation for the Estate which operates some 800ha of mainly arable land surrounding the central core of the Estate.

The heavy soil dictates a mainly combinable crop rotation consisting of Wheat, Oilseed Rape and Beans. The objective is to farm well for high yielding crops within the cropped area but recognising the need to protect wildlife in field margins and non cropped areas.

In addition to the Estate land the farming operation has been keen to spread costs by farming land for other owners in the locality on contract or other short term arrangements to suit the individual owner.
